Hello and welcome to Offroad Girls™! Thanks for stopping by to check us out! My name is Megan and I’m the president and founder of Offroad Girls™!

For the longest time while growing up I can remember my uncles, brothers and their friends riding quads and snowmobiles back in Wisconsin. I was often told I was too young to tag along or that I wasn’t tough enough to play with the boys. As I got older and finally got the chance to start riding with them I realized what a thrill it was to be on a quad and behind the powerful engine of a snowmobile!

In January of 2005 my curiosity for fun and speed got the best of me and I purchased my very first quad, a 2005 Yamaha YFZ450 Special Edition. Having my own bike was great and I enjoyed getting out to ride it every chance I got. I spent most of that spring down at the Imperial Sand Dunes in California with my guy friends learning how to handle and maneuver my new bike.

While I was down at the dunes for the first couple of months I couldn’t help but notice all the other girls that were there with their friends and family that weren’t riding. They weren’t getting the chance to see how exhilarating being on an ATV was! I noticed the same thing later that summer while riding up in the Cinder Hills of Flagstaff, Arizona. Why weren’t these girls riding?

After talking to a couple of these girls it appeared to me that they weren’t riding because no one inspired them to ride, no one told them that its okay for them to go out and have fun just like the guys!

That’s where my idea for Offroad Girls™ came from. In March of 2006 I decided I wanted to encourage every girl I met to get out there and ride. No more sitting on the sidelines at races, no more hanging around camp all day while the guys are out having a blast on their machines, and no more thinking that they can’t ride just as hard as every one else!

Offroad Girls™ is here to get every girl out in the dirt and having fun whether it is on a dirtbike or quad or in a sandrail, rockcrawler or truck. Our motto is “Play Hard, Get Dirty!” and we want every girl to do just that!
